The The Drum, formerly known as the Lakota Singers, was founded to support the youth organization by providing the songs for the Lakota Dancers performances.  Over the years, the Drum  has grown and now regularly participates at Pow Wows across the region at the invitation of the local Native American community.

The Drum has learned a wide range of songs appropriate for the many situations at a Pow Wow from "inter-tribals" for general dancing to Honor Songs for special events.

We respect and honor the traditions that we have learned, and in the process of learning new songs, getting lost on the way to performances, teaching our dancers, getting lost on the way to Pow Wows, being the team roadies, and getting lost on other team trips, we manage to always have a lot of fun.
