The new Northwest Suburban Council Patch is now for sale at the Scout Shop, it will be a replacement for the old CSP from the 1970s.  

Nationwide 100th Anniversary Audiocast Kick-Off Rally

A young man of eighteen, fresh out of Art Students League, entered the office of Mr. Edward Cave, Editor of Boys' Life in 1912 and said, “I understand that you will be needing some artists to illustrate stories in your magazine. I would like you to see what I can do.” This launched the career of one of America's greatest illustrators, Norman Rockwell. Scouting has changed the life of millions of people over the past 100 years. Do you remember making your first Pinewood Derby with your Dad, learning how to swim, or gazing into a late night fire listening to stories? The Northwest Suburban Council would like to share with our community those special moments with current Scouters, families of Scouts, Scouting Alumni, and people who have never experienced the Scouting Spirit. 2010 is a milestone for the Boy Scouts of America, celebrating its 100th Anniversary. The Northwest Suburban Council will host ScoutTrek 2010 on September 25, 2010 at Busse Forrest in Elk Grove Village, (Higgins Road and Arlington Heights Road). We invite you and your family and friends to participate in the celebration.
